Excellent Brake Power With the friction coefficient of 0.36~0.40µ, FRIXA products provide excellent brake power. Typically, the brake power fluctuates with changes in the driving speed and temperature. But, FRIXA brakes reliably and safely yield the brake power under a variety of driving conditions. FRIXA brake products and tested by Japan's AKEBONO Engineering to ensure the product quality in development and manufacturing.

Stable at High Temperature Even when repeatedly braking at high temperatures, FRIXA products show low to little fade characteristics, making driving safer. *Fade : a phenonmenon in which the brake power is reduced due to a lower coefficient of friction when the brake pads become hot.

Low Noise FRIXA brakes make low noises(below 70dB) allowing comfortable driving. Brake noises not only can bother the driver but also can increase the tiredness level of the driver. With brake noises minimized, the driver can enjoy driving more.
Low Wheel Dust FRIXA brakes are designed with less metallic materials, which are the main culprits for wheel dust. With aramid fiber and potassium hexatitanate(K2O, 6TiO2) as main elements in the brake pads/linings, a less amount of wheel dust is generated, and the auto wheels remain cleaner. We have worked hard to design the FRIXA brakes to generate less wheel dust so that the wheels can stay cleaner.
Low Disk Rotor Damage Disk rotor damage by brake pads can annoy the driver and can result in poor braking. FRIXA brakes are desinged to minimize the rotor damage.

With less metallic materials, the disk rotor damage is minimized. Metallic materials like steel fiber can damage the disk rotor to the point of high noses, making safe driving impossible. Using less metallic materials, FRIXA brakes have solved the rotor damage problem. |

Low Brake Wear With excellent brake power, low noise and low wear, FRIXA brakes are good for commercial vehicles or other cars requiring low brake wear. The average coefficient of friction is 0.36~0.40µ. FRIXA brake power is good and reliable even at sudden or repeated braking. Low Disk Rotor Damage Typically, low wear pads tend to damage or wear down the disk rotor more. However, FRIXA Taxi and Mileage pads create a transfer film on the pad surface while braking takes place, minimizing the disk rotor damage while maintaing excellent wear characteristics.
Environment Friendly Harmful metal materials llik Pb(lead), Cd(cadmium), Hg(mercury), Cr(chrome), are not used in the FRIXA brake pads. Asbestos and fiberglass materials known to cause lung cancer are also not used in the FRIXA brake pads, which are designed to be environment and health friendly. FRIXA brakes are safe for the auto mechanic to handle and use during a brake job.

1. Double Slot With the double slot design, the heat dissipation is increased, resulting in safe braking even at high temperature, repeated brake situations.
2. SUS-Shim The SUS shim is added to the rubber coating shim found in regular brakes to stop the heat transfer to the brake cylinder, preventing the vapor lock and minimizing brake noises.
3. Back plate color A variety of back plate colors is available to satisfy a wide range of customers.

Potassium Hexatitanate(K2O, 6TiO2)
- Excellent resistance to high temperature with low wear
- 3.5 to 4 times stronger tensile strength than other brake materials, resulting in a longer brake life.
